Director's Vision

I’m really excited about "The Witch of Windsor" for a few key reasons. First, it skillfully combines a modern coming-of-age story with the eerie elements of Edgar Allan Poe's work, full of mystery, suspense, and the supernatural.

The story is told through the eyes of a seventeen-year-old, giving it a unique and fresh perspective. While the film will appeal to people of all ages, it will especially connect with teenagers, hitting close to home with their feelings and experiences.

How It All Began...with a script and a Queen Anne-era Victorian house

✨ Director’s Vision

It all began with a script… and a Queen Anne-era house.

When Rob Reese (our long-time collaborator and cinematographer) first shared the story, I was immediately hooked. Together, we tracked down a breathtaking Victorian house two hours outside Houston, where the spirit of the film felt alive.

From there, our team grew organically — with incredible creatives like Dina Uvarova, whom I met at a Gatsby-themed party (of course!), and Alessia Granmayeh, a visual magician who can bring any world to life.

And the local Texas community? They embraced us wholeheartedly — from Main Street shopkeepers to the mayor herself.

We even filmed a proof of concept to bring to AFM (American Film Market), where the response was electric. That’s where we connected with Tiffany Boyle, who introduced us to Sony executive to refine the script to attract A-list talent.

We’re gearing up for filming in the fall 2025. The journey has been exhilarating and demanding—filmmaking is far from glamorous. It’s about hard work, creativity, and unwavering commitment to our team, project, and supporters. Your support means the world to us—thank you for being a part of this exciting adventure!

Dream Casting

  • Ron Perlman is our dream "Grandpa" — a role written with power, heart, and edge.

  • At SXSW, I saw Kyle MacLachlan in person and couldn’t help imagining him in the same role. With his enigmatic presence and 600K TikTok followers, he'd bring a whole new dimension to the film.
